When Alison showed me the 4-in-one painting on the wall in their fabulous new house, at the housewarming party last summer, we agreed that the longer wall was crying out for something – but what? I asked her to leave it with me as I already had an idea, which I was happy to work up, with no obligation. Keeping the semi-abstract theme and the same colour palette, I created an imaginary forest scene, which they immediately approved and purchased. I’m so grateful to Alison and Phil for letting me loose on their walls!
